Kunafa with NESTLÉ EVERYDAY

 

Method of preparation

Serving Size for Adults: 8

 

  1. First dissolve NESTLÉ EVERYDAY and 2 tablespoons of sugar in 1 cup of water and heat it for 10 minutes. Add the liquid corn flour to make it into a thick cream and then take it off the stove.
  2. In another pot mix 1 cup of water and 1 cup of sugar and heat it for 10 minutes. Then add lemon juice and heat it for another 2 minutes to make a syrup. Then take it off the stove.
  3. In a separate pot, mix crushed laccha semai, butter and rest of the sugar together.
  4. Brush a baking plate with a little butter and food colour. Then spread half of the mixed laccha semai on the plate. Now, add cream and 1½ tablespoons of pistachios and cashew nuts and cover this layer with the rest of the laccha semai. Bake this preparation in an electric oven at 180oC for 20 minutes and then take it out.
  5. Now add the sugar syrup and rest of the pistachios and peanuts on top of the baked kunafa and let it cool. Delicious Kunafa with NESTLÉ EVERYDAY is ready to be served.

  2. 1 packet vermicelli (laccha semai)
  3. 1½ cups sugar
  4. 2 tablespoons corn flour (dissolved)
  5. ¼ cup butter (melted)
  6. 2 tablespoons chopped pistachios
  7. 2 tablespoons chopped cashew nuts
  8. 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  9. 1 pinch food colour
  10. 2 cups water
