Chocolate Layer Shandesh


 

Method of preparation

Serving Size for Adults: 4

 

  1. Prepare a dough by thoroughly mixing chhena, sugar and cardamom.
  2. Heat the dough in low flame for 10 minutes and stir frequently.
  3. Add cocoa powder to half of the chhena and mix well. Brush the serving dish with ghee and place the chocolate layer. Now place the rest of the chhena on top of the chocolate layer to make a sandesh.
  4. Cut the sandesh as required with a knife and serve delicious, homemade Chocolate Layer Sandesh.

  1. 1 cup chhena
  2. ½ cup sugar (fine)
  3. 1 pinch cardamom powder
  4. ½ teaspoon ghee
  5. 1 teaspoon cocoa powder
